Homily #080826 ( 14min) Play - Well we did miss the morning homily but we had a special Mass in the evening and so we recorded this one and had better results. On this feast of the Seven Joys of Our Lady, Fr. Ignatius preaches on the history of this devotion which started through a humble Franciscan friar named James in 1492. Listen as Fr. explains how Our Lady herself gave the devotion to this friar and the beauty and importance of it.
Ave Maria!

Ave Maria!
Wonderful homily, Father. I, too, am grateful for AirMaria so I can hear and read so many things that would otherwise be unavailable to me. I never knew that the Friars wore the Rosary with 7 decades … very nice! The homily is going out to gloria.tv as I type so another 500-1000 people will be listening … take heart.
Peace in Christ through Mary
