Ave Maria! In this episode of Dr. Miravalle’s series ‘Coredemptrix, Mediatrix, and Advocate,’ he gives a clear and concise explanation on how the Dogma of Coredemption would help clear the confused beliefs held by many Protestants that Catholics hold Mary as a Goddess, or rather the Fourth Person of the Blessed Trinity. With ease, Dr. Mark shows how by the Pope speaking ‘Ex Cathedra’ he would define the belief in Mary as ‘unique participator in the redemption of man-kind,’ not holding her equal to Christ. Ave Maria! This thirteenth episode of Dr Mark Miravalle’s series on Our Lady’s role of Coredemption explains why there is a current movement to have the Coredemption declared a Dogma of the Church and why it is so important. Come watch as Dr. Miravalle gives convincing evidence on how the Coredemption movement is the climax and greatest legacy of John Paul II’s Pontificate. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! In this episode Dr Mark Miravalle discusses how to present Mary to others especially to non-Catholics. He centers his discussion on the concept that any artist wants to make a masterpiece into which he pours everything he has. God, who is the master artist par excellence, did this in Mary. Watch this video and see how this concept can first increase our own awe of Mary and then be able to communicate it to others. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! This week Dr Mark Miravalle explains Mary’s title of Advocate for the People of God. Starting with the Old Testament concept of Queen Mother mentioned in previous posts, Dr. Mark points out that Mary becomes the Queen Mother at the moment she gives her glorious fiat. This is confirmed just days afterwards when she visits Elizabeth who calls her “the Mother of My Lord” under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. As Queen Mother her primary role is to intercede for us with her Son, the King. Thus she is our Advocate. Listen as Dr. Mark then gives two New Testament examples of this intercession, the Feast of Cana, John 2, and the Woman Clothed with the Sun, Revelation 11 and 12. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! [I originally posted this on Sept 8th but because of an error it never made it to the front page so I am reposting it again today] This week Dr. Miravalle gives us a wonderfully understandable summary of the three Marian titles of Coredemptrix, Mediatrix, & Advocate in terms of family and common experience. In short, Mary is a very good mother to us, a mother in the order of grace. As Coredemptrix she is the Mother Suffering out of compassion for her children, as Mediatrix she is the Mother Nourishing us with graces and as Advocate she is the Mother Pleading on our behalf. Come nourish yourself with the teaching of Dr Mark Miravalle on Our Lady and Mother. Ave Maria! |

Ave Maria! Working off the foundation he laid last week from the Fathers of the Church and the Old Testament, Dr. Mark now enters the New Testament to outline the biblical basis of Mary’s title, Advocate. He goes over the visitation of Mary to St. Elizabeth, the feast at Cana and Revelation 12, the Woman Clothed with the Sun and so shows that Mary is the New Ark of the Covenant and the New Queen Mother. Come listen to Dr. Miravalle’s impassioned and inspired talk. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! In this episode Dr. Miravalle explains Mary’s title of Advocate. Come listen to this talk as he gives the context of this title relative to the other titles of Coredemptrix and Mediatrix, what the early Christians believed and how it is foreshadowed in the Old Testament. Advocacy in the context of Coredemption and Mediation: Coredemption: Mary suffers as her Son dies on the Cross and so participates in winning graces. Ave Maria! |
