“The means to arrive at holiness is the continual vigilance over oneself, with the scope of knowing your own defects and uprooting them, sowing the seeds of virtue, cultivating them, developing them right up to the most elevated degrees; then there is prayer, with which the soul acquires supernatural divine graces, indispensable for spiritual progress.
